Family-owned-and-operated for over 100 years, here at Century Linen and Uniform, we believe in giving back to the community we’ve been a part of since 1915.
Our community has supported us for over a century, and being able to give back to it is an honor that we don’t take for granted. We love watching our community grow and hope to make a difference that leaves an impact for another century to come.
Here some of the ways we give back to the community that has given us so much:
Century Linen donated funds to support the 5th annual “Run 4 the Hills for First Responders.” This incredible event consists of a four-mile run through the beautiful and historic village of Sharon Springs, NY.
Proceeds from this fun run benefited the Sharon Springs Rescue Squad and the non-profit Hero Fund America, which supports the training of first responders.
We are proud to support Run 4 the Hills and Hero Fund America because they provide the education and life-saving equipment our first responders need to save lives.
Last summer, Century Linen once again supported the SALT Development Bounty of the County Gala cocktail and gourmet dinner. This beautiful event took place at the Schoharie Valley Farms Carrot Barn in Schoharie.
The dinner showcased delicious, regional food, beer, wine, and more! Chef Michael Lapi worked with our regional growers for a night of amazing local food for a great cause.
Proceeds from this event benefited SALT (Schoharie Area Long Term), which is a community development and disaster relief organization in Schoharie. SALT is well known for its relief efforts after Hurricane Irene. Today, SALT focuses on the difficult task of stimulating economic development.
We look forward to attending this event every year and supporting SALT in all of its generous disaster relief efforts!
Last June, Century Linen sponsored and co-hosted the 2018 Nathan Littauer Foundation fundraising event that directly gave back to our community and local projects. The event raised over $120,000 to support community projects including a new primary care center in Broadalbin, the renovation of patient rooms in local hospitals, and more!
We enjoyed being a part of this event and hope to continue our amazing relationship with the Nathan Littauer Foundation for years to come.
Here at Century Linen, we believe that giving back to our community is the least we can do. We are always looking for more opportunities to serve the amazing state of New York that has done so much for our business.
From organizing and supporting team events and fundraisers to volunteering time in our neighborhoods, our goal is to help make a difference that will leave a lasting impact.
At Century Linen, we pride ourselves in being a leader in the linen and uniform industry for over a century. For more information about what we can do for your business, contact us today at 800-721-7648.
